About the studio
ODE Studio is the in-house practice where ODE began — with a single question: what does a work do to the person who lives with it?
Working across painting and fine art print, the studio builds every piece around a feeling rather than a subject. Its work is the foundation of the collection, and the standard every represented artist is measured against.
I'm not trying to depict a place. I'm trying to make the feeling of arriving somewhere quiet — the moment your shoulders drop.

01What do you hope someone feels in front of the work?
That they can stop. Not think, not decide — just stop for a moment, and notice their breathing slow down.

02Where does a new piece begin?
Almost never with an image. It begins with a feeling I want to get back to — and with a lot of pieces that never quite get there.

03How do you know a work is finished?
When I stop noticing it and start feeling it. It hangs on the wall for weeks first. If it still holds its quiet after that, it stays.

Made slowly, tested in real rooms.
Every piece is layered, lived with and placed in real homes before it's offered — because a work that calms a studio wall doesn't always calm a living room.
